Report: Major shakeup to WWE commentary groups; Jimmy Smith is long gone, Booker T is again, and extra!

WWE is hyping up its “season premiere” episodes of SmackDown and Raw which are scheduled for the next day evening (Oct. 7) and subsequent Monday (Oct. 10), respectively.

As it seems, main adjustments are coming to the commentary groups for each displays, and additionally NXT. Variety simply broke the inside track:

On “SmackDown,” Michael Cole and Wade Barrett would be the major commentators, with Barrett shifting over from the “NXT” commentary staff. Samantha Irvin will function the hoop announcer, with Kayla Braxton and Megan Morant serving as behind the curtain interviewers.
