“At the point when the call desired Sam (Hughes) I was prepared for five rounds,” Demopoulos told MMAWeekly.com. “All I was doing was cardio preparing and working in my particular aptitudes the entire day. “I just won the LFA belt, I’m large and in charge, and I get a call for the Contender Series and I didn’t flicker. We took that battle and I fell somewhat level. It was a short camp, so perhaps I didn’t give myself enough an ideal opportunity for that, yet I lost that Contender Series battle.”
Instead of finish what has been started in her preparation, Demopoulos recognizes that changes must be made in her preparation so she could get back on the triumphant track.
“There’s a ton of things to gain even from your successes, however particularly when you lose,” said Demopoulos. “You investigate everything and assess. I saw a few things I have to take a shot at, so I returned to the planning phase.”
On Friday in Park City, Kan., Demopoulos (5-2) will hope to bounce back against Lupita Godinez (4-0) in the LFA 94 strawweight title headliner.
“Loopy is a forceful contender,” Demopoulos said. “She’s undefeated at the present time, so you must give her regard in that angle. She has a great wrestling family.
“(The way to getting the success is) knowing your rival, recognizing what things she may be paying special mind to, and understanding my qualities and the things I can do.”
Regardless of the conditions encompassing a battle, Demopoulos decides to live at the time and not let anything outside the enclosure matter to her.
“I am the victor right now of the LFA, and it implies something, yet with regards to leaving there, nothing matters,” said Demopoulos. “I’m 0-0. She’s 0-0. The scoreboard is at zero – you must battle – that is it – period.
“You must accompany a similar sort of power and a similar kind of crudeness; it doesn’t make a difference in case I’m the champ or the dark horse, I’m coming to battle, coming to win, and take what’s mine.”
